Service Family Description - Dedicated Use

Hibernia Media Dedicated Managed Capacity is term-based network service between two locations, an A-location and a Z-location. Customers specify service locations, bit-rate, physical interfaces and transport characteristics of this media service on individual service orders. Hibernia Media builds the end-to-end pathway and then monitors and manages the resulting facility according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Video: ASI, SDI, HD-SDI

  • OC-n Private Line: OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, OC-192

  • Uni-directional (except OC-n Private Line formats)
  • Bi-directional

  • Point-to-multipoint

Locations management

  • Static: fixed endpoints
  • Dynamic: portable on-network endpoints (either customer self-provisioned or Hibernia Media-provisioned)

Bit-rate options

  • ASI: 3 mb/s minimum with increments of 1 mb/s up to 213 mb/s
  • SDI: 270 mb/s
  • HD-SDI: 1.5 gb/s
  • Ethernet: 10 mb/s minimum with increments of 1 mb/s up to 1 gb/s
  • OC-n: OC-3 (155 mb/s), OC-12 (622 mb/s), and OC-48 (2.5 gb/s)

Unit of Sale

Hibernia Media Dedicated Managed Capacity is sold on a fixed-term basis as specified on individual service orders. Fixed-terms have a minimum one (1) month commitment
