Service Family Description - Occasional Use

Hibernia Media Occasional Use Managed Capacity is event-based network service between two locations, an A-location and a Z-location. Customers specify on-network service locations for each transmission service order as well as the following service attributes: scheduling, bit-rate, physical interfaces and transport characteristics. Hibernia Media provisions the end-to-end pathway across its network and then monitors and manages the resulting facility according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Bit-rate options

  • ASI: 3 mb/s minimum with increments of 1 mb/s up to 213 mb/s
  • SDI: 270 mb/s
  • HD-SDI: 1.5 gb/s
  • Ethernet: 10 mb/s minimum with increments of 1 mb/s up to 1 gb/s

Scheduling

  • Transmission Date (up to 12 months in advance of transmission)
  • Transmission Start Time
  • Transmission End Time

Unit of Sale

Hibernia Media Occasional Use Managed Capacity is sold on a usage based and/or reservation based term as specified on individual service orders. Usage based or reservation based terms have a minimum five (5) minute commitment and are bookable in 1 minute increments beyond the minimum.
